From Top to Bottom


From sea level to just over 10,000 feet, Maui offers substantial climate change: from the 80+ degree weather at the coastline, to the snows-on-occasion summit. What's even more remarkable is the travel time between these extremes: the Haleakala Highway holds the world record for most elevation change in the shortest distance...just 38 miles from top to bottom.
