Oma'o

Years ago I tried to describe the green of Maui as "vibrant chartreuse" to a friend.  Pretty redundant, I suppose...but the beauty of the color green on this island never ceases to amaze me.  Just a month or so ago, the hills were so green that everyone was commenting...visitors and locals alike.  I think it's kind of ironic that previous generations referred to green as "the color of money," while today it has to do more with ways to save money. But all in all, it's just a color.  And my favorite shade is vibrant chartreuse.
